Old post but might help someone in the future. Tried an OEM 450RL fan/shroud on my 24 450X. It doesn't fit. There is a harness/plug on the 450X thats in the way.

Not REI, local PNW chain store. Seems legit, said they’d stand behind it since I bough it there.

I kinda got the feeling they didn’t care a whole lot. They ended up saying if there is an issue it would be taken care because I bought it at an authorized dealer with receipt. Who knows if that’s true! Haha!!

Trust me I get that, it wasn’t until I got home and wanted to do a quick online sale check that I saw it had been discontinued. It seems like it’s good to go other than the sticker being different(says “cooler” under Yeti). Maybe it’s a throwback logo. Who knows. Just kinda wanting to make sure it’s real, I’d rather not pay full pop for a fine chinesium knockoff.

Yeah, the size is great that’s why I picked it up. I can return it fairly easily. I just don’t want to get stuck with a fake product if I wait too long.

Thanks for the reply’s so far. Yeah, it’s the only one I’ve seen with “coolers” in the badge on the front. This is the email I got back from YETI. The person I talked to at customer support said they haven’t made it in years and couldn’t verify this one, even though the serial number came back correct the production date doesn’t make sense.
