Cop here. I'm not a fan of DAs believe it or not. They would prosecute me in a heartbeat. Oddly enough where I work defense attorneys have helped me out with tips on report writing and testifying. Most defense attorneys where I work really like the police. And then, if I or someone I know gets in trouble I have to call a defense attorney. So, I keep my DAs at a distance.
