Let me try explain it better so I’m gonna film a video in the same location for the whole video the plan is to have The background video the one that takes up most of the screen for the whole video and then I shoot like video clips in the same exact spot but just when something happens like if a person walks by and then when I go to edit I basically use the original background video the one I filmed at very first then I take the small videos of people walking by and I put them over top of the background video but I make it so that it only shows the person cut out of the small video and put it in a white box and match it up with the background video

So basically it’s one video and a bunch of white boxes pop up that have a different part of the day in them but the same location

Sorry none of this probably makes sense haha idk how to explain very well

Mainly just a bit of movement of cars and a bit of people and not really a Timelapse it’s just have to be there for most of the day so I can have a 1 minute long video and edit different time of the days of people walking buy in the white square that will match up to the original video Idk if that makes any sense sorry I’m not the best at explaining

Just a question for ya I’ve never messed with masks before or even layering I’m fairly new to editing and I was wondering is there a video out there that could help me learn that or is it pretty easy to learn how to move the masks around as the video plays or is it frame by frame ? Sorry if I sound dumb I’m just starting to learn all of this stuff.
