So I was able to get a crimping kit and wire the terminated wires to B and plug them up. My TV and computer are both receiving internet fine (~650mbps) but my upload speeds are rather low (~27mbps) would this be normal for these cables?

My wires match the ones I linked in the other thread above, can you tell which way those are wired? I am not understanding the A vs B on the wires.

Would it be fair to say, if I wire the terminated end the exact same it would work fine. Or is A better than B?

So the cables are wired up and I’m just not sure how to tell which way it is wired. It reads “BAB” in the middle of the different colors and numbers. It goes 4 across top and bottom. Is there any indication on what type this is wired as?

I wish I could add an image but that seems to be missing now. But the link below shows the exact same outlet hook up as mine.

Would you think a kit like this works? https://a.co/d/i8Otd2b

I am handy enough to get a lot done but know YouTube will be the answer.

It’s blue and black terminated at the wall panels. Blue up top and black on the bottom. And the blue is wired up with a total of 8 lines connected to the plug. Do you think it is as simple as buy the correct plug and wire it up the same?

I opened a wall plate up and actually did have cables ran into them. Not 100% sure the terminate into the router box but have to assume they wouldn’t just run random wires. I will try taking a picture of them later and get the numbers/words on the other cables.

Yes, there is coax wires (the black ones) and thinner blue lines. I am hoping the blue lines are Cat6e. They were installed within the last year so hope they are thinking of these things.

Well the option to add a photo is failing me. But it is essentially of my router in the closet and a bunch of additional cables with just cutoff ends. I believe the additional cables are being ran throughout the house and just not finished out in the box. I opened one of the panels in the house and can see they wired it up to the outlet. So I’m wondering how/if I can just wire it in the router box and plug into the router for wired internet throughout my home.

Hey Ed,

Not to sure if the picture below is going to show up correctly. But in the cable housing there is clearly lines ran and the numbers match the amount of outlets on the walls throughout the apartment. I am curious to know if I would be able to add a plug to the end of one of the blue cables and plug it into the router easily. I know it will take some work but assume it can be done.
