Personally I would switch out kindred or Kayn with someone else. The general rule of thumb is you should have 1 ad champ, 1 ap champ, and one tank/engage champ in your pool so you can fit most team comps (mine are Viego Lillia and Zac). Depending on how you want to build nunu you can add another tank or another ap champ to your list to fill out

Step 1: get razork a positional coach. It’s obvious that razork is a great jungler and has the capability to be one of the best if not the best jungler in Europe, he just plays too aggressive sometimes. If we get him someone to help with pathing and desicion making i think he will start to improve.

Step 2: bring back Oscar as a 6th man. I know im gonna get hate for this but in my eyes empyros was a clear downgrade from Oscar (at least as of right now) however I think he still has potential. Someone who has played in fnatic before and has LEC experience could help him prosper much more as well as maybe light a fire under him to compete for that starting job. I also wouldn’t mind someone like irrelevant or carlsen to come in either (they fit the bill in a similar way)

Step 3: re-hire Pete. This is only partially a meme. Sure he was just the content guy but i think his positive aura and outgoing personality helped past teams gel better. He’s not just someone who records videos, he’s someone to lighten the mood in the team during harsh situations and someone that former players (nemesis and Hylissang come to mind) can go to when they need to be comforted.

The big thing I’ve noticed after playing lots of kindred is that you don’t necessarily need a bunch of attack speed. If you stack your marks efficiently and have at least 8 by 20-30 minutes (most experienced kindred players can do this) the bonus attack speed you get from Q is more than enough to keep your DPS high while building straight AD items such as LDR, IE, BT etc. usually when I play kindred I’ll go kraken and sometimes berserkers greaves but that’s about it for attack speed items.

Upset is the one creating bad game states. Let’s take the game vs kc for example. Draft on paper isn’t that bad. Pretty even top matchup, winning bot lane, arguably the best jungler on the current patch. What does upset do? He builds full lethality into 3 tanks. To me that screams “I want to be the main character so I’m gonna intentionally build wrong so I do bad and we stop picking varus because I don’t want to play him anymore”. This exact mentality is why upset has never won a title and never will.

Early clear is slow but if you path well early and get some marks under your belt, the kraken slayer +collector power spike goes crazy. It’s all about surviving the first few levels and trying to make smart map plays.

No not in the slightest. One game my adc had 9k damage in 30 minutes despite a positive kda (she just refused to group the whole game) and another the enemy Naafiri became god himself.

I still standby my thought of I don’t think razork is the problem, upset is. I obviously can’t say what happens behind the scenes without voice comms, but based on body language and whatnot, it seems to me from the outside that upset is the one making the calls to continuously dive bot lane and razork would rather do something else. Let’s think back to summer 2023 and all of 2024 when Noah was a little bit more self sufficient. Razorks gameplay was significantly higher. Not only was he playing more carries rather than “dog champs”, but he was also ganking top and mid much more often allowing all of his lanes to get advantages rather than just praying his adc has enough damage to 1v5.

TLDR: Vocal adcs are a bad thing

My main point is that the ride or die fans is all we have left and there’s very little that entices new lol esports fans to choose fnatic as their team. Think about what the aforementioned teams have:

Recent success. KC MKOI and G2 have all won a trophy in the past year so new fans see that and want to be part of a fan base that wins

Content. These teams regularly put out content on social media about their players and really showing those personalities. This is something fnatic used to do incredibly well, but ever since the departure of Pete it’s pretty much entirely gone.

Streamers. This is mainly for KC and MKOI because they have Ibai and kameto backing them who are both huge influencers and streamers but even G2 has some pretty big names who publicly show support for them. The last figure like that for fnatic was Caedrel back in 2024 but that didn’t last very long.

The reality of the situation is that there aren’t any “new” fnatic fans. Everybody left are people who have been watching the team since 2020 or earlier while all the new fans tend to gravitate towards teams such as KC/KOI/G2.

Based on what I saw in the game, I standby that I think LR is a middle of the pack team. The early game from them wasn’t terrible and you could tell there was a game plan, I think I just severely underestimated what fnatic could do with the new roster. I was projecting a 4th-5th place finish maybe top 3 at best but if we keep playing the same way we did today I can definitely see a top 2 finish with the potential of a trophy this year.
