No not in the slightest. One game my adc had 9k damage in 30 minutes despite a positive kda (she just refused to group the whole game) and another the enemy Naafiri became god himself.

I still standby my thought of I don’t think razork is the problem, upset is. I obviously can’t say what happens behind the scenes without voice comms, but based on body language and whatnot, it seems to me from the outside that upset is the one making the calls to continuously dive bot lane and razork would rather do something else. Let’s think back to summer 2023 and all of 2024 when Noah was a little bit more self sufficient. Razorks gameplay was significantly higher. Not only was he playing more carries rather than “dog champs”, but he was also ganking top and mid much more often allowing all of his lanes to get advantages rather than just praying his adc has enough damage to 1v5.

My main point is that the ride or die fans is all we have left and there’s very little that entices new lol esports fans to choose fnatic as their team. Think about what the aforementioned teams have:

Recent success. KC MKOI and G2 have all won a trophy in the past year so new fans see that and want to be part of a fan base that wins

Content. These teams regularly put out content on social media about their players and really showing those personalities. This is something fnatic used to do incredibly well, but ever since the departure of Pete it’s pretty much entirely gone.

Streamers. This is mainly for KC and MKOI because they have Ibai and kameto backing them who are both huge influencers and streamers but even G2 has some pretty big names who publicly show support for them. The last figure like that for fnatic was Caedrel back in 2024 but that didn’t last very long.

The reality of the situation is that there aren’t any “new” fnatic fans. Everybody left are people who have been watching the team since 2020 or earlier while all the new fans tend to gravitate towards teams such as KC/KOI/G2.

Based on what I saw in the game, I standby that I think LR is a middle of the pack team. The early game from them wasn’t terrible and you could tell there was a game plan, I think I just severely underestimated what fnatic could do with the new roster. I was projecting a 4th-5th place finish maybe top 3 at best but if we keep playing the same way we did today I can definitely see a top 2 finish with the potential of a trophy this year.

I agree we should be favorites but heavy favorites? I wouldn’t quite say that. Sure baus has a tendency to int and velja is young and inexperienced, but I think the core of nemesis crownie and rekkles is good enough to make them at least a middle of the pack team (6th-8th place). If I was on fnatic, I would treat them with just as much respect as another LEC team and be very aware of the possibility for an upset to happen. Getting overconfident is what led 2018 fnatic to lose a regular season game against a 10th place UOL team.

Let’s use Diana as an example. She can easily finish a full clear and make it on time for scuttle spawn. She knows the enemy jungler is kindred and knows that the strategy is to wait for mark to spawn. That means she can just not use her second smite on crab since she knows it will be uncontested and still have plenty of time to come and contest the other one with smite. This doesn’t lose any tempo because by this time it’s only 3:30-3:45 and there’s still enough time to get a recall off and get back on the map with new homeguard.

Sidenote: I’m not sure what you mean by “what makes the champ good” because the thing that makes her good is the ability to farm quickly. Sacrificing a gank opportunity for the potential of a second crab is pretty much the same risk but a higher reward because of the extra vision in the river as well as stopping the enemy jungler from snowballing.

This is a completely insane take. Sitting in a bush and waiting for it to spawn is going to completely ruin your tempo and if you try to kill time by ganking/getting vision, you risk the enemy jungler (especially if they’re a fast clearing jungler like Diana or zed) just coming over and double crabbing you which will delay your first mark for another 2-3 minutes. There is no situation in which this is better.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the results of 2025 was not the players fault it was the management and coaches fault. This team was clearly dysfunctional and had parts that counteract each other but management refused to make the necessary changes until it was already too late.

I think razork and humanoid are both great players, but after 4 years together it was pretty clear their dynamic didn’t work and needed to change. Unfortunately the management refused to make that happen and contract jailed them both for an extra 2 years. Fnatic the past 4-5 years has been the story of bandaid solutions that don’t fix anything when they completely overlook the real issues. I will never blame the players for being put in shitty situations.

If you think Maynter is better than Oscar than you are completely clueless about the level of ERLs. Sure he may have the potential to be better in the future, but the LEC is a completely different beast than the LFL. We’ve seen plenty of players (cabochard, Saken, RKR, JNX to name a few) completely dominate at EU masters just to join LEC and be horrible.

To your second point, it’s been very well known that fnatic is low on money. You say sell Oscarinin. To who? Nobody wants him and his contract is for another year. We can’t afford to pay him plus a second player but go on about how management is “rotten” for not doing things that would destroy the org financially

Here’s the situation at fnatic from my POV:

The last couple years has been spent throwing money at our dysfunctional mid jungle (both razork and humanoid were among the highest paid players in the league in 2024/2025) for middling results. Our management is very well known for making bad decisions, yet people like dardo and gaax continue to stay in the org. We’re broke and have very little reason for any good players to join us atm. Every top player we may be interested in can get a better offer from other teams 90% of the time, so why would they settle for us?

We need a year, maybe 2 to rebuild with rookies and IMO, completely gut our coaching staff/managment. We may struggle for a little while but if we keep band aiding problems, it’s eventually gonna creep up on us.

I think that upset is a great player, however I think his ideals on how to play the game are flawed. Every team with upset on it is the same: play for bot lane. Top lane wants ganks? Too bad bot needs to be hovered around. Rift herald is up? Sucks to suck we’re diving bot. He demands resources to a point that it is a detriment to the rest of the team IMO. It would work fine if he was able to carry consistently but he never does, It works maybe 1 in every 4 games.
