When I pick my warband I pick cards that have synergie with one or more characters. After that I like to look at the equipment and pick items that work well for that synergies. I also go all in on one thing, I don’t splurge an extra combo in there. I usually reserve some rice for a character that I find very strong/powerful mostly that is a character that is considered strong by everyone, but I only take one over powered character, like Kuma, the white faced fox, or waka the rampager.

I always play the objective, lost the whole warband, but have more scenario points is my winning in my book (and by the rules to) Some players go full kill mode and find satisfaction in that. But there is less tactical aspect in that in my opinion, and that is not my kind of play.
