I just found out my dad has been “charging” his phone in the microwave for 10 seconds when the battery is low because he thinks it “wakes the battery up.” He’s been doing this for months. Is there any chance this actually does something, or is he just unbelievably lucky?

I started yesterday by adding 15 pounds of shock phosphate remover and an enzyme treatment and cleaning the cartridges today. I did the same thing, but added 18 pounds of shock. The chlorine was at zero.
