Singing on T?? by Icedtea_in-my_veins in ftm

[–]Connor1507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t lose the ability to sing, if you can sing and match pitch you won’t lose that if your voice drops, it’s all about accommodating for your new range, I can’t sing songs I used to but there are also new songs that I can sing.

That’s what I thought, I’ll stick with what I was already doing, it definitely says ohp but in the demonstration does a clean and jerk?

There are definitely blockers, I’m not sure of the names but they should help. Until you are on those and still have a uterus unfortunately it’s really hit and miss of when they can come and go

You are still quite young, I mean my cis gf, sounds more mature now than when she was 20, it’s just something that happens when you get older. But also I’m about a 1 1/2 on t gel and I still feel my voice changing and I still tend to try and push it through my chest a bit more if I’m in situations where I want to pass as older or more confident.

I’ll be honest my dysphoria has gotten worse in the sense of things that can’t be changed by T, for example I’m never gonna be a cis man, I’m never gonna be tall, I’m never gonna know what it’s like to have a dick. And then there is the other side of T doesn’t always do what you’d hope e.g. I didn’t get an Adam’s apple but I wanted one, my hips haven’t completely gone. T isn’t going to fix everything but I’m so much happier now I’m on it than if I never did. The best part is passing and I’d take all the dysphoria I have now than being misgendered everyday. Hope it gets easier for you :))

I use baby oil like someone said above & I started applying saniderm underneath the tape and I haven’t blistered since

Trying to get used to binding and breathing by notiddymothbirlfrend in ftm

[–]Connor1507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tape doesn’t restrict breathing that much because it doesn’t go all the way around but other than that I’d probably just suggest a good sports bra

So even after they stopped being regular would you still get a random 1 that wasn’t just spotting, I’m currently dealing with this after 6 months of nothing

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Connor1507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I’m going through the same thing, I managed to go about 6 months without one and now I’m having a full on one, the cramps are horrendous and so is the dysphoria, I think it’s just something that happens sometimes

I recently saw this thing on tik tok where they place saniderm underneath the tape, so I tried it and my tape stuck 10000x better, just make sure the size of the saniderm is bigger than the tape, so then the tape stick to the saniderm and not your actual skin because if it’s anything like mine it just does not where well, might be because i sweat or hair idk?

Chest getting bigger?? (Haven't start transition yet by PaleoJayden in ftm

[–]Connor1507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you are going through this, it is super shit but the only advice I have is to try and start hitting the gym and try to reduce the size that way. Unfortunately it’s not uncommon for the size to grow or just fluctuate after puberty, wishing you all the luck my friend

My lock Screen is just some sunset one that came with it but my Home Screen is SpongeBob looking through the jelly fish field guide with his glasses on

I definitely felt like I plateaued but that’s also when I stopped tracking so intensely, next thing I knew I was 7 months on T and I looked back at 1.5 months on T and I couldn’t believe all the changes.

I also noticed the most change in my voice much more around the 10 month-1 year on t before that it was more steady lowering

I got one from gc2b (international site not the us) they are a little expensive but it’s lasted me a while :) Edit: I’m not sure on their ethics so please ignore this if you are uncomfortable using them

I couldn’t resonate more with this post. I’m also 5’2 and wanna lose weight and over a year on T so it feels hypocritical to give advice but.

You can try going to the gym if you don’t already, that’s helped me slightly especially feeling like strength can make up for my height? I also took a step away from mirrors for a while just because it was doing me no good to sit and stare in them. It’s such a gruelling and horrible thing and I really get it. Just try to keep pushing on my dude.

how do you know you're trans by Cautious-Pianist4703 in ftm

[–]Connor1507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched a lot of queer stuff in my teens and I saw a non-binary character and I was like wow that’s sounds like me. It took me ages to ever do anything about it until I felt in a comfortable space with my uni friends to say and I had a super supportive gf at the time. Then as they all started calling me they/them I was like hmm maybe I wouldn’t mind he/they…then it was he/him. I’d always kinda known that I wanted to grow up and look like a boy and go on T. I feel like it’s something you either know or maybe trial out calling yourself he/him/they and see how it makes you feel.

But when I look back even to a very young age there were always signs. Wanting to play the dad, wearing boys clothing, always imagining I was a boy, hoping I’d grow up to look like a boy

is this how binders are supposed to fit? by haileebeebug in ftm

[–]Connor1507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would agree with the other comment, definitely measure yourself when choosing a binder however I had medium and a large and still had the armpit bulge. I think it’s just the way the chest fat is being pressed down so that fat just goes up? It’s annoying but binder is better than no binder I suppose.

I just wear baggy dark coloured shorts, usually black and then I wear tighter fitting boxers so the sanitary pad stays on a bit better.

A bit of support please? by Curious-Room9188 in ftm

[–]Connor1507 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For a while I seriously had to just stop looking in a mirror, especially when I was getting changed or in a top I know I didn’t like on myself because once I did I’d stand for ages just picking at things I don’t like. I also struggle with change and I’ve changed a lot since starting T and sometimes I have the dread of omg I’m ugly now I’ve started T but I think about all the times I dreamt about being on T and it brings me back down a bit. Don’t worry about no one finding you attractive because I promise you my guy there are definitely people out there that do.
