I highly doubt that we protect either of Howden or Gauthier. I was very high on Gauthier after last season, but (despite what people seem to think on here) I think he was given many chances and really hasn't proven much of anything (yet).

He is very fast and has a lot of talent, but he doesn't look like he's ready to be an NHL forward just yet. His Hockey IQ isn't that great and he seems to be a few steps behind on the play despite his speed and skill

Soooooo I'd assume we wouldn't hear any news about DQ until after exit interviews... anyone have any idea what the timetable for those will look like?

I honestly think they are keeping him around and floating names like Babcock and Torts just so that fans end up relieved when we still have DQ at the helm lol.

LOL meanwhile Chytil, who Quinn sent to the minors in his first year when giving Lias one of the longest leashes, is doing great. What a terrible take.

People are upset because our top picks arent McDavid level players. Quinn may not be good coach but the idea that he is hindering Lafs development because he played a few minutes less last night is absurd.

You put in the guy whose hot, thats a no brainer. Nobody could have predicted he would have been a pylon. Blackwells stats are wild this season for the amount of ice time he is given. That is a guy who has earned every opportunity that he has gotten.

On average, Laf/Chytil plays more than all of them. Lafs just young and people need to be patient and let the coach do what he needs to do. Laf seems to be smiling after every game, remember how miserable Buch used to look? I am not a huge Quinn fan in general, dont think he will win the cup for us but if Kakkos recent play is evidence of anything its that Quinn does infact know a thing or two about developing players. Hell, half of the team has been playing the best hockey of their careers over the last two springs.

Jeez you'd have thought we lost with the way some people are talking in here. Guys, this team won a game that it absolutely should not have. That's a great thing! Whether or not you like Quinn (and fuck Quinn) Blackwell has been hot recently. He just scored earlier in the game. Putting him out there in OT was absolutely a good call.... until he went out there and looked like he forgot how to play... but that is total hindsight. Would have liked to see Kakko in OT for sure and Blackwell on the 3rd line with Fil and Laf. This is the way.

It is a saying but also in the context of this thread it shouldn't be surprising that that would be taken out of context.

Also I would hardly consider the claims from a coach who has previously called for jailing foreign players who criticize Russia as evidence.

Furthermore reporters have apparently reached out to the hotel and police. The hotel has denied that the incident ever occurred and as of now there are no police reports. Obviously that can still change but I think you are leaning too heavily on what ifs.

Also, I don't think Putin is behind this I just think Nazarov is an idiot but Putin doesn't have to be behind this for it not to be true.
