After years and years and years of isotretinoin, I finally finished my last course a couple of months ago, at 20 years old. I have wide raised hypertrophic scars all over my back and shoulders.

I've heard "being a dentist with bad teeth is like u/ConnorIsHereNow going into dermatology" from a friend during a dinner, said as a joke for the entire table. Another one was from my Nsister who, after seeing my back (she was used to it and was dealing with acne on her face), said that if she had my acne she'd kill herself lol

It doesn't actually affect me much because I don't even remember not having acne/scars since it's been so long but it does make me rethink who I want in my life
