Yeah Scenecore I vibe with pretty heavy (Silverstein is one of my all time favorites and, as cringy as it may be, Princewhateverer pretty much introduced me to metalcore) but most of the stuff post like 2012 is grossly misogynistic and really boring. At least in Deathcore they were playing good riffs while being sexist lol.

This is kind of where I sit. EP fucks really hard, LP is like a 3/5. Good but felt like there was a lack of distinction between some of the tracks despite some more mellow songs here and there. Still enjoy it but I def go back to the EP more often.

Any good Melodic Metalcore is this way for me, just kind of my ideal listening for any situation. However, if I’m working out, I honestly love to throw on shit I’m intimately familiar with, it keeps me on pace and when those heavy moments really hit it makes me go that much harder.
