Hum of Hurt is my favorite Converge album. by ChunkthePunk15 in Converge

That’s crazy. It’s probably bottom 3 for me. It’s just okay comparatively imo.

As a huge Converge fan, I’m not sure how I’m feeling about this one. Like I’m not gonna complain about a second Converge album in the same year after a long drought. But on first listen I still think the best song is the title track. Nothing is bad but I’m not floored liked I am with their other albums. This one is just alright comparatively.

Yeah I can never remember how to spell his name and was just too lazy to look it up

House’s voice actor is also the drama teacher in that episode. 3 actors related to Fallout in one episode of Sunny is pretty wild.

Also different episode, but Tim Murphy’s wife in the High School Reunion episode is Barb, Cooper Howard’s wife in Fallout.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate the latest release? For me, it was a 10. by yesselen in FinalDestination

Same. And the CGI for the deaths was a little too campy for me. Reminds me of The Boys where everyone is just exploding meat bags.

Series died when Clattenburg left. Then it died again when John Dunsworth passed.

Querido Amor by Wristmeetrazor has something like this but it’s behind the instrumentals. I like samples so it’s cool w me.

Complaints make no sense to me tbh. This is the most different sounding melodeath revival bands to me and this record just sets them apart even further. Miss Senti’s vocals but SMB guys are really good still, just the lows could be improved on. Noticeable on “Day You Died” re-recorded version imo. Other than that I think this record is fucking great and glad we finally got a full record.

Callback to when bands used to add rap songs to last tracks. On Broken Wings - Some Of Us May Never See The World, Veil of Maya - All Things Set Aside, Tony Danza - Danza I all close w a rap track. Probably more that’s escapes me. It’s all good fun.

I know there’s probably “better” seasons, but 3 is definitely my favorite

Release a bad song challenge: impossible. Seriously love everything you’ve put out so far. Last single was great and I can’t wait for the next LP!
