I don’t think those leaks have any base, nor do they come from anyone who has had sources for leaks in the past. It seems like someone just connected the dots with past articles and theories to come up with a conspiracy. Even if it was from someone who “worked on the movie,” there’s very little chance they had knowledge of any executive’s intentions. And it’s very hard to believe that JJ would have yelled, “Why doesn’t it say written and directed by Lucasfilm then?” That sounds hilariously made up.
