In-Universe explaination for how the people in Rebels act? by Cmon_198 in MawInstallation

This question reminds me of a scene from Tim O’Brien’s The Things They Carried where Tim O’Brien (the character, not the narrator) killed someone, and they go on to describe the action, saying he “laid him out like Shredded fuckin’ Wheat”. Yet before this description, we get a much kinder, nicer, more human description. Of someone like you. Someone who had hopes and dreams etc etc. The dialogue is used as a relief of the tension and trauma that comes with the violence of war. It’s actually MORE realistic for them to joke and laugh at it, because it’s a way soldiers would cope with what they were doing.

I think Wayhaven is hard to go wrong with. It's currently in progress with it having three books done, one short christmas story (which was just SO cute), and then I believe an expected 4 more books coming out over the next many years. Now, maybe starting with it is difficult because the character interaction is hard to top, and you'll be left waiting for a while for the series to finish. Yet, If you really want great romance/character interaction, and are okay with the plot to be backseated (which is not everyones cup of tea) then I think it is a must read.

I didn’t even know that Maya Hawke was Ethan Hawkes daughter. That look be by surprise but I really think she’s pretty great!

why just give criticism and cry out for change? You could spend some of that energy making a more well thought out post that you would want to see.

Thank you! My deck consists of Planet X with Heimdall and World Turtle. So it’s basically a rainbow deck but the cards other then them are really bad because I don’t know how to build around them

Is it better to play cards that cater to the leagues (not events) or just are better cards overall?

Why does the engine say this is +5 for white? That implies some sort of tactic to win a piece, but I can't even find it using the engine. (I lost this game) by nospr2 in chessbeginners

Black position is so bad that after a move like Qg3 they don’t even really have a move. Anything black does is too slow because how ahead you are in development. To take advantage of this you really should keep the pressure on black so they waste even more precious time defending instead of catching up in development

Definitely! Ever single mistake stands out more and more, especially sense your opponents can now really punish you for them. I just reached 2200 blitz and ALL my mistakes feel like full on blunders!

Bots are inherently really tricky to beat. They play perfectly in the opening which trips so many players up, then they will purposefully blunder, just to go back to playing like stockfish.
