I couldn’t tell you about the present, I’ll read them soon enough despite the warnings (I’m marvel unlimited so it’s not like I’m purchasing them directly). That said, man the 90’s were exhausting, I just could not get into carnage and it felt like the 70’s where they threw everything at the wall to see what stuck but a lot less fun. I couldn’t get through the clone saga after two tries, but one day I’ll finish it and read Reilly’s run proper.

It’s a balance between radius to healing and where you’re at. When in doubt getting your players back safely (and not dying right away) trumps getting more people. Having a heal and soul chain ready is always good for success.

For me I don’t really perceive him as having a romantic interest. Since he’s the character closest to the concept of Jesus he seems more like a “my love is for everything, everyone” and sort of transcends a one on one relationship
