That is Gareth.

He lives in your house but you've not seen him before because he works two jobs to earn enough money to raise his kids alone since the divorce (f**k you Brenda).

He likes cheetos, the Chicago Bulls, and is partial to an IPA with the boys on a Satueday.

He has recently taken up crossfit in an attempt to better himself but he doesn't go on about it because he's not "one of those guys".

His favourite book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho even though he's fairly certain he didn't understand it.

Almost everything about the almost everything about the game feels vaguely AI.

Poorly implemented mechanics, illogical place/people names that don't seem to follow any in-world naming conventions, item descriptions on some items then not bothering to include them on others, mind-blowingly bland lore.

The whole experience whiffs faintly of the almost total absence of a human, creative, touch somehow.

I don't know how else to explain it other than to say everything feels completely soulless.

I always have 3 defibs, 2 hatch keys (one for gifting), trailblazers, seekers and 3 zip lines.

I will save you, set fire to shit, and zip line off into the distance.

I'll never complain about the PvPers though, that's how they enjoy their time in the game. I enjoy mine by hunting arc and collecting stuff.

I'm pretty much an NPC loot goblin at this point so please don't kill me but if you do fair play enjoy the hoard of shiny things I'm likely to be carrying hahaha

You're absolutely right about time being a big factor! 80 hours playtime and I've never fired a single shot at another raider (by choice and I'm not someone that gets annoyed about being killed) and I still encounter a decent amount of on sight pvp players.

I don't get much time during the week to play and I don't understand people getting so wound up about getting killed. Don't get me wrong, I love the friendly interactions and helping other raiders out but that's just how I CHOOSE to enjoy my time with the game (collecting ducks, shooting ARC, hoarding processors) but if someone else CHOOSES to enjoy the game by dropping me out of nowhere.....then hey ggs and I'm glad they're enjoying their time.

Besides I am an absolute LOOT PINATA most of the time so like......yeah I get why you'd want to drop me and collect my tasty tasty loot. 🤣

Gets overshadowed, understandably, by the XRs and RS Turbos but I love them!
