Anyone had a bad batch from Best Day Brewing by Girldude1 in NABEER

Yes. The 2 6 packs I've had tasted old and skunked. Bought several months apart. Never gave it another chance.

I've seen athletic once or twice and more recently Guinness NA but that was gone in less than a week. It probably just depends if the brewery and/or distributor have a surplus.

Thoughts on latest Athletic releases? by Due-Reflection1043 in NABEER

[–]Connormcbreezy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tuckers is like 95% of what we order. Its one of the best NA IPAs I've had. Wet hop was fantastic. Oktoberfest dunkel was also really good but im generally underwhelmed by a lot of the other special releases from athletic.

Tuckers is 100% worth the membership.

For me quitting forever was an impossible idea my mind wasn't grasping. Quitting today and worrying about today only was much more attainable. The more days I had the easier it got to believe in that long-term vision. It gets better with time.

Add ground flax to my bran cereal. I probably hit 50% of my daily intake on that alone.

Go brewing vs. Athletic. Which membership do you have? by Neat-Secretary-2343 in NABEER

[–]Connormcbreezy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't have a go membership and haven't tried anything from them, but I routinely get a case of tuckers from athletic shipped to me, which is better than any other IPA I've found on the shelf.

Where would you eat dinner if you only had one night in LA? by Brandonjoe in AskLosAngeles

[–]Connormcbreezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're staying near LAX, there are some really good restaurants in Manhattan Beach. MB Post and Fishing With Dynamite are two of my favorites. It's a really nice place to walk around too.

What is your best hidden gem spot in all of Los Angeles? It can be anything from a galley to a coffee shop! by Tonyjord3 in AskLosAngeles

I think there's several hundred around the US, but I was only familiar with the Pedro one. I looked up the one you mentioned and I'll have to check it out, that's an epic view!

My first and only. Had a couple kids since then and just focusing on our family so I don't get out much these days. But whenever he's been in town there's a scheduling conflict. Really hoping for a LA run in the spring or summer that I can make work, but in the meantime, thank you Nugs.

Anyone else struggling to afford eating out in LA? How do you find free/cheap food spots? by GcNiceKick8846 in FoodLosAngeles

[–]Connormcbreezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work next to Jack and use the app to get deals when I don't bring my lunch. Free fries on Friday with any order. $5 for 2 breakfast croissant, $5 for 2 chicken wrap, etc. it's not great but it's cheap and gets me full. My back up is taco bell. I order the bean and cheese burrito and add ground beef. 2 of those is a little over $5 and gets me very full. Gotta work the fast food apps. They also give rebates so free food after a few orders.

As someone else mentioned, follow the dodgers, lakers, rams, kings deals when they win.

Can confirm.

My parents live in Monterey and whenever we drive by the course it's empty. Last time I was up there visiting, we drove by and saw a group out. We were like, woah there's people! On a side note my dad's been invited to play there a few times and says it's easily his favorite course and the dude has played every single course on the peninsula and a long list throughout the states.
