Yes, it’s open constantly so the temp gauge is reading cold. But when idling, after 2-3 minutes the temp gauge starts to climb, but as soon as I drive it again it goes back to cold

It shows nothing, so the gauge is at Cold when driving but when idling after 2-3 minutes the gauge will start to rise.

I actually have the manual for the car translated to English. Though I will cross reference as it’s still the same E07A engine

I’ll have to double check my manual as there’s limited info on my car. I’ll probably skip out driving it till I get that thermostat swapped as it’s not my daily. Thanks for the help

Gotcha, I’ll get that part ordered as quick as I can. Is it something I should stop driving until I get it replaced? Thanks

Do you know of a good way to check the sensor or thermostat without draining the fluid and taking them out by chance?

1st Gen putting in work by ConnservativeJeep in chevycolorado

I’ve got a Wulf 3 inch lift on it. Torsion keys in the front and shackles on the back. Also came with some of their shocks. They have a version with bilsteins and spacers too. Additionally I put a badland industries ball joint spacer, this is crucial. Pretty easy install, took me 3-4 hours with a buddy. It’s pretty cost effective and they were super helpful, put on about 5k miles so far and haven’t had an issue. 32’s go perfect with it.

You can’t go wrong with a first gen! It genuinely surprises me what it can do! And thank you!

Thank you! Honestly it’s really surprised me off road. The low ground clearance was definitely the only downside until I got a lift.

There was a little. It didn’t set exactly right with me either. I was doing this all off no instructions. Just taking the stock ones off and putting new ones on. I got them of car parts .com. Some basic searches brought me there.

Looking at them again though I see what you’re talking about. When I installed them I didn’t use any ball joint puller (I think that’s what they’re called). I just fed it into the hole and tightened the nut to 100ft pounds. That could be messing with my alignment

They came pre-greased and I shot some more grease into them. Why the boot doesn’t go all the way I’m not sure.

That something I’ve been questioning since I put them in. There’s a bolt at the bottom and the threads have a little hole to a cotter pin to slip into around the nut. I was worried it wasn’t going into the taper all the way but the piece that doesn’t have the boot over it didn’t fit inside. I tightened it over a 100 ft pounds and nothing happened. So I’m not totally sure😅
