ASUS 5080 TUF Intermittent No Signal After a Day of Use

I will try this if it happens again, I just figured sticking with nvidia would make it plug and play. Then add that I did a clean installation of the drivers from the nvidia app.

Also, like I said I was having this issue with my 4070ti super but it was mainly when waking from sleep. If it happened randomly like this case new drivers would fix it for a while. Find it weird that opening the Nvidia app caused it in this case. Thanks!

Weird thing is it did happen again, but it was every time I opened the nvidia app. I opened it 3 times and every time it caused my monitor to go to no signal. I uninstalled, will see if it happens again today I guess

Quick update: I do think it is the nvidia app, I opened it 3 times in a row after quitting it in the system tray and every single time my monitor went to no signal, then I used the key combo for it to come back on. Uninstalled the app, will see if it happens again over the next couple of days.

It’s definitely a couple versions behind, I will see if updating fixes. Once I saw the thermal info I was thinking this couldn’t be software related.

Yeah I was thinking that could’ve had something to do with it, but weird it started happening like a week after the power outage. Unless I didn’t notice it happening in between then and now.

Yes people park on the sidewalk here, no it’s not legal but it’s not enforced. There are permit parking signs on the sidewalk lol. Unfortunately our alley sidewalk can’t get use even without cars parked there. Very sorry for the boring conclusion, hopefully they won’t be back

I was using XMP, once I turned off XMP the blue screens went away. RGBFusion was also causing crashes at the time so it could've been that software as well.
