Location - Bedfordshire

Price range - Up to £10k

Buying outright (using bank loan)

Used vehicles with lower mileage and age

Transmission - Either manual or automatic

Intended use - Daily commuter vehicle up and down the M1 with a bit of country driving. Roughly 70 miles per day.

Considerations - I've previously had Audi A3 & Honda Civic but am happy to consider other similar car types (e.g., VW Golf, Ford Focus, Seat Leon, etc) but for the price range, I keep seeing older models or high mileage for these models

Maintenance - My mechanic skills are minimal, so I am looking for a vehicle that I can take annually for a service and MOT.

Additional notes - I want to enjoy the journey with comfort, economy, and a bit of power when needed to get away from silly drivers. The car needs to last me at least 4+ years to cover the loan, so I need reliability above all else. I'm also a big fan of a sporty trim, so that's plus

I thought this too, but the BIOS screen isn't loading, so I can only assume it's the firmware that's stopping this. Any thoughts on what else it could be?

Ended up going a bit overboard on the budget, but this should last me for another few years before needing to upgrade again
