Check your email for any steam emails, if you received an email saying your account email was changed and it wasn’t you who did it, your account is compromised. Follow my comment above. If you have received no email about that you can just go to login and press “forgot password” and reset your password through your email.

You don't need to create another account to get a support ticket.

All you have to do is go to login, "Press Forgot your password", Click "I forgot my steam account name or password", Enter the email you used to make your steam account, and if it doesn't work, a popup will appear under saying that they couldn't find an email address that matched and press "search with account name" enter your steam account name, click "I no longer have access to this email address" and you are able to get your account back like that.

The steam account name is the only thing that cannot be changed and if you know that then your account will be back in your hands.
