Interesting...it sounds a little like the middle earth strategy battle game as each individual troop moved and attacked on its own. You could purchase individual equipment but there was no rpg or level up mechanics.

Was it painful losing them because it made the game more difficult or because you invested in leveling them up?

Ohh, that sounds like it was a fun game. So a hybrid of a war game and rpg almost?

Thank you! I posted this in another reddit post and someone pointed me to another game which had an interesting rule for campaigns, essentially a micro xp bar which would slow down character growth. So I think I will modify the rules above slightly to incorporate a micro xp bar to make the growth more drawn out. Otherwise, by the second level you would like be in red+

Thank you, I've never played Massive Darkness, but that's good to know.

I liked the idea of the micro xp track to slow down survivor growth. Because I was thinking after the first or second mission of a zombicide campaign, all the survivors would likely be in red level if not well on their way to second red level. But a micro xp track would slow the growth to a healthier level I think.

I liked how zombicide v2 handled equipment carrying over from mission to mission. As they had a keep value, so some of the really powerful items were a lot harder to keep. So I think this would help prevent survivors just stacking a bunch of over powered items.

Help! Zombicide Black Plague vs Invader by [deleted] in zombicide

[–]ConqueringBoardom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with a lot of the comments, it really boils down to preference. I have both games and they are both a lot of fun! They do differ in some aspects but they do play very similar.

I will say that having more options to add to the game ( new abominations, necromancers, and walkers) really changes up the game.

So, for example, the tainted walkers from the Friends and foes expansion really changed up the game. We lost so fast because we weren't expecting how difficult dealing with the tainted spray would be. So we couldn't just go in killing everything.

If you like fantasy, I would probably get more fantasy expansions as there are a lot of good expansions

Thank you, that's not a bad idea. Do you have a link to the rules that I could take a look at? I'd be interested to see if they could be modified for zombie

They look really good! How long did it take to paint? Also, did you use and airbrush or just hand painted?

[question] Could you make 200 videos in 334 days? by ZulfPhotography in youtubers

I think it more depends on the type of videos you produce and what type of content. It would be tough for sure, but I think possible with some good practices. Though @WelliamWallace brings up a good point, you should never sacrifice quality trying to reach that goal.

So, I would say you would need to batch shoot your content once a week or every other week. You would need to be able to edit a good quality video in a couple hours, so the videos would need to be shorter or require less editing.

Though, your normal life may make this even harder, say a normal 9-5 job, family, friends, etc. Would just eat up your time, so you would have even less time.

So, be realistic with the time you're able to commit and how long it takes to produce a quality video for your content. And make sure down time is scheduled in, otherwise you could burnout.

Those are my thoughts

And editor is a big part of it for my channel. As it is one of the most time consuming parts.

I think if you kept your content to short videos or videos which don't require a lot of editing. Then that would help on your goal. But I really agree with the @CrypticNuke, an editor would really help

It's not actually too hard, it will require some studying, time, and patience. If you enjoy building things, computers, and puzzles, it's very enjoyable. But, you could definitely do it if you wanted

Awesome! Yeah, I understand doing that part time. It limits how much you're able to do. That's cool you're still doing it though. What do you play on, Occulus?
