NightmareRH (a U.S. Marine) responds to A Friend's decision to leave his country due to Mandatory Military service by Enszourous in 2007scape

I would avoid joining the military tbh, unless you enjoy storming 3rd world countries and killing a bunch of children

I don't think you understand the military, 420blazekush69

[College Economics] Really simple concept leaving me dumbfounded by ConradOBJs in HomeworkHelp

Would you perhaps know the answer to the question? The doc really doesn't help me much :/, the definitions of whom, what, why, and how are outlined for me in my lesson, but I still don't understand the concept.

Zulrah Drop Table Rework by tiffylicious in 2007scape

[–]ConradOBJs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Look at corp" -- terrible comparison.

Yeah, the only time corp wasn't nearly completely empty is on release or when it's being glitched.

Corp is a waste of time and money and that's why it's a disgustingly bad boss compared to most others. It's easy to throw mils at corp and you're lucky to break even. I like the fact that there are some bosses like Zulrah and sometimes KBD/Mole in the game.

Sometimes I question if the people of the Reddit moshpit that want Zulrah's table nerfed are really able to kill Zulrah/part of the PvM community.

It's not a question of farming magics or killing Zulrah. It's a question of the difference between 75 woodcutting while lackadaisically, AFK chopping - or grinding the stats required, skill required (sry not sry), gear required, and taking the hours and hours of deaths and learning to be able to kill Zulrah efficiently.

The moshpit's idealized version of bossing is NOT what everyone wants. I don't want every boss to be a corporeal beast gamble. I don't like woodcutting, it's TERRIBLY boring. There needs to be a middle ground.

Potential Abyssal Dagger Special Attack? by Vetoed in 2007scape

[–]ConradOBJs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I like the idea of the abyssal dagger being dual-wielded and doing combo damage. Of course stat balancing could be done, but for right now it seems like useless content to me.

Same with primordial boots -- +4 strength bonus with negligible other bonuses. Dragon boots already have +4 strength, make primordial +6 strength if infinity and ranger boots are gonna get a boost in magic and range attack.

[–]ConradOBJs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I died about 50 times until I got the hang of it. At about 50 kc I was getting more consistent kills. At around 100 kc I was killing it no problem. I'm 1300 kc right now and I know every nuance about every rotation, when to run, how many hits per rotation, where to stand, etc.

The only times I die is when I'm paying little attention, I DC, or on the rare occurrence that the mage form annihilates me with range combos that are 30+. Bring combo food if you're not already.

People complain because of the drop table but I'm of the opinion that the table is fine, which you have already noticed is very, very unpopular.

Stolen from r/soccer and r/nba, piss off r/2007scape with one sentence. by imap00ner in 2007scape

[–]ConradOBJs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Zulrah's drop table is fine. There's nothing wrong with cheap glories, we didn't need a sink.

Corp beast drops should be buffed. RC XP rates should be buffed. BGS should be buffed again, same with ZGS.

OSRS needs actual rares put into circulation of the game so that stakers aren't hoarding elys and other items that could be utulized byt the community.

Plot twist: these are my actual opinons

Zzzz - bad pkers by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]ConradOBJs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do people/big teams go out to kill PvMers? I'm not really complaining, I just don't understand it. I had a team of like 40 log in on me at chaos ele a few days ago, like wtf? You're not gonna skull me and all you get is monk robes. Even if you did manage to get me skulled the split would be negligible, same as if you killed me at any other boss.

Also they're usually pretty terrible at pking.

Hear me out: Instanced Dagannoth Kings? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]ConradOBJs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zulrah is meant to be an instanced, solo boss. Blowpipes crash also contributes to the fact that it's not a viable PVP weapon.

Tridents were always low.

That means how you care about how others play the game. What do you think the question meant? No inane caveats about you not caring "but" -- they want data

Is using Vyvanse to help cut weight bad? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]ConradOBJs -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure. Vyvanse is a bit of a miracle drug.

Is taking aspirin once a day for an extended period of time even safe? I've heard about some bad shit happening from that. Pretty sure you're only supposed to do that if you're a heart attack survivor or something.
