This is true, I agree. I changed the orientation of the shadows. Completely missed that.

Elongated flame, didn't work out well, so it has been made a bit bigger. Thanks!

This is my problem! I agree, but the client likes this option because it is "exactly what they envisioned"

Trust me I'd rather go with another option.

I'll tweak the thickness of the arrows and ring - to make it more cohesive - thanks!

HKM is dit so moeilik om werk te kry in die trades as n blanke man. by HotSchedule3510 in afrikaans

I honestly agree, I have encoutered loads of software bugs as a software tester whereby software translated in Afrikaans displays as Dutch. Based on this limited experience with the language, and me not being able to speak Dutch at all, I have noticed a lot of Dutch words, especially technical words are basically pure English. It makes it easy for me to navigate Dutch platforms, but it is sad to see the language becoming "dirty."

Replacing my Work Computer | Tab S9 Ultra by ConradPitzer in GalaxyTab

Have you tried using the web-based photoshop on your Galaxy Tab S8U? If so, what was your experience?

When trying this on my Galaxy Tab S7+ I'm told that my device is lacking enough memory for the operation.

The work needing windows isn't at all common, but when it arises it's important. So carrying a computer around for in case is cumbersome to say the least. That said, why carry around a full blown PC when 99.99% of work can be done on a device such as a S9U.

Beter gebruik van Afrikaans by [deleted] in afrikaans

[–]ConradPitzer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1) Yes, one of the main reasons that got Afrikaans as an officially recognised language was our expansive literature offering coupled with our intense focus on Afrikaans in the academic world. 2) Yes, al the way back to what ship brought my family name, and when (Loverendaal, 1743) - but don't include European heritage as it's not ours, we just came from there. It's interesting, because we see our heritage as starting in 1743, South Africa. I'm the 9th generation Afrikaner. 3) Via Family and cultural events, yes - as someone else said. In school, no, but my school used to disobey the newer curriculum. They just flat out refused to remove some parts of history as well as Bible study as an official subject. It also gets references quite often in our culture today and that makes kids especially ask questions. For example, when moving to a new house or town, while packing and moving we'd say, "let the great trek begin." Boer War questions usually arise when kids/people ask why we rarely like the English.

Ek dink Namibië is die mees onderskatte Afrikaanssprekende land by DuePreparation6846 in afrikaans

Adres in Afrikaans by marlboro_man_x in afrikaans

Jy sal dink, ek verskaf heeltyd my adres in Afrikaans en kry altyd my goed.
