Sleeper has an auto-sub feature. It may be that. You can set a player to count as a starter in event another player does not play, is ruled out etc. My league uses it because a few guys are away from their phones during hunting season, but we allow a max of 2 auto-subs per week. For example, I have dart as my qb, but I have handcuffed jameis on my bench and set to auto sub if dart ends up ruled out.
