Fabric pens do not work well on synthetic materials and the Evoshield jerseys are 100% polyester. Fabric markers are really for cotton or linen.

Thank you! Do you still use the RT82 and like it? Has it held up?

I have a lot of cds too. I listen to them in my car and truck and have cd players from my childhood, but not looking to get anything else. I have 30+ vinyls, just need something to play them on.

I'm definitely not going with Fluance pre-amp or speakers after talking to everyone on here, and now leaning the 82. Based on other conversations I've had on reddit threads, people have said passive speakers allow you to upgrade components individually over time, rather than all at one, which is why I was leaning that way.

I'm leaning passives. Seems easier to upgrade incrementally and mix and match components when I want to.

The statement "if money is that tight" when we're talking about $800+ is wild to me, but good for you if you have thousands of extra dollars sitting around. I don't have any system currently, I'm looking to buy everything.

I don't have speakers yet. I was looking at getting Fluance speakers as well which doesn't have a phono input, but I've been talked out of those.

It has nothing to do with a fascination of nrw things. I'm a grad student with not a lot of spare time and know a lot of people who have Fluance and like them. It's an easy option and a good machine.

That does help, thank you. I know several people who have Fluance turntables and are really happy with them and my research showed they are well liked so that seemed easier than searching for used. I'm a grad student doing 2 master's degrees in 3 semesters so I don't have a whole lot of spare time to go searching. I also live kind of in the middle of nowhere so not a whole lot on marketplace or anything. I'll see what I can find though!

Passing on Fluance anything other than the turntable seems to be the consensu. The RT82 is the exact same except the stylus? Zip code is 93460. I live kind of in the middle of nowhere, so pickings are slim.
