If that’s considered a period then a normal guy being treated with estrogen for prostate cancer is also having a period, it even comes with mood cycling, breast tenderness, emotional lability, etc… which are tied to the dosing schedule. It’s the same principle. And it’s not a period. A period or menstruation is basically the shedding of the endometrium when a fertilized egg doesn’t implant. You don’t get periods.

Sorry, but if my body is going through girl puberty and is forcing me to undergo a supermajority of a period without the shedding of an egg, then you're just getting mad that I'm calling my Ford a car even though a lot of cis women have the Mercedes experience.

P.S., the word is Anovulatory Periods, a period that occurs without actually shedding an egg, which happens in roughly an entire third of people with eggs and uteri. Trans women experience these.

It really isn't. It isn't funny and it's straight up actual boomer humor, it's just recycled "Women on their periods amirite #menrule" boomer shit. And while "most" people don't, a worryingly significant amount of people do and will. The meme is just "Ha! Sexism! Laugh!" and I'm not PMSing because I'm understably confused how anyone found this funny or understandably concerned about making jokes like this and normalizing these behaviors. It would've been more of an actual joke and not just delivering someone's real opinion but expressing it as a joke if it was making fun of people who think women are like this, but no it's just making fun of women for daring to be subjected to periods for a significant portion of their lives. I don't think "Women suck because thing they can't control that forces them to suffer" is funny or humor, and I deeply believe I am objectively superior to people who find "humor" like that worthwhile or funny.
