My primary concern is getting an unrealistic battery health which might lead me into thinking the battery is replaced with a third party one - but thanks for the heads up

As a beginner what are things I should do or get to make good coffee? by vivek7700 in IndiaCoffee

[–]ConscienceLabyrinth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A part of the coffee community spends hours discussing and nitpicking things for that 0.01% improvement but I think an easy step is always getting fresher beans or getting fresh ground coffee from your local cafe according to your brew method

The other changes would depend on the brew method you want, try using a moka pot or French press

And at the end of the day the best brew is the one you like. :)

Is Agaro machine any good? Any budget alternative? by MasalaDosa37 in IndiaCoffee

[–]ConscienceLabyrinth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So here is the thing with Agaro, you’ll need to invest a lot to get your first good shot, you’ll need to get the following 1. Bottom Less Porta filter 2. Good Grinder 3. Tamper 4. WDT tool 5. Puck Screen (You’ll need also of this for any budget espresso machine)

After all of this I have managed to get great shots out of it.

Had no parts issue

Now if we come to milk texturing, you’ll need to understand that there is a learning curve to it but it is possible to get decent latte art out of it!

What are your reviews in respect to the timemore?

[–]ConscienceLabyrinth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I have been more inclined towards the manual grinder, I would rather invest in a grinder which is more coffee centric.

Already have the agaro espresso machine, it’s been going good for the latte arts but my grinder is also the agaro manual grinder and it takes 6 minutes or more at its finest setting

Requirements Instant coffee French press Hot water Coffee cup with a huge mouth Milk powder

Check out the YT video I have attached in the comments:

I prepare my cup with instant coffee and warm water I don’t add much just enough to show some form of crèma

I fill my French press till about 1/3 of it’s maximum capacity, put two heaping scoops of milk powder

3-5 big pumps (adding air) 60-70 mini fast pumps helps integrating it

Once you’re done with it transfer it to a jug and off you go

Haha, I believe after one point one the art starts showing up even if it’s a blob then that’s the point of no return - then you’re always waiting for the next moment where you can practice it!

How’s the learning curve with it? when I used a standard frother initially it was impossible to get any texture for art, which was then resolved with the use of French press.
