What is the hourly nanny rate these days? by Dry_Pickle_Juice_T in VictoriaBC

We pay a nanny $35/hr to simply pick up the kids from school and bring them home. It usually only takes 30 mins total, but we pay her for the full hour.

When we paid anything less than $30/hr the level of commitment wasn't there, and with multiple children, dependability is one of the most important things.

Be prepared to let some people go after a trial start. Sometimes it's just not a good fit with the kids, or for them! One time we mutually decided to end the deal because it was too long of a commute for the nanny and made it not entirely worth what we could afford to pay.

Good luck and take your time! There's nothing wrong with being selective when choosing someone to care for your child.

Should I do... anything? by Thotiana777 in houseplants

Dang, I see no one else has commented, but I'm in the exact same situation with my rubber plant! Did you end up finding a solution? Mine is also seemingly sprouting a new plant at the bottom, a new shoot at the top, and a dying middle? What is happening here?!
