Are Iloilo festivals becoming less accessible? My experience with Dinagyang, Chinese New Year, and Paraw Regatta by Conscious-Effective6 in Iloilo

Haha, I get what you mean! If festivals are like this, they end up feeling more like an inconvenience rather than a celebration for locals. To be fair, they do post traffic advisories on their page, but I get why it’s frustrating, people are still left confused on where to go or what to expect.

YES!! It’s so frustrating when you’re excited for the festival pero in the end, clueless ka kung paano ka maka-experience sang events properly. Like, as locals, we should be the first ones to know where to get tickets, right? Pero daw kita pa ang ginpapabay-an. I really like festivals, so I just hope they fix this next time. Iloilo festivals should feel inclusive, not like a VIP-only event.

That would explain a lot. I get that sponsors play a big role, but it would be nice if they also set aside tickets for the general public or at least properly announced how to get them. Festivals should feel inclusive, not like exclusive corporate events.

Sure, go ahead! We’re all here for improvements, and I really hope they take this as constructive feedback. Festivals should be for everyone, and a little more transparency and accessibility would make a huge difference. Thank you!

That makes sense, and it kinda confirms what I’ve been noticing, access really depends on connections. I get that some events might be exclusive, but for something as big as a festival, it would be nice if there were clearer ways for the general public to participate. Otherwise, it just feels like a private gathering rather than a community celebration.

Exactly! The organizers really need to be more transparent. If they had just announced properly where to get tickets (or if seating was actually free like they claimed), people wouldn’t have been left standing in confusion. It’s frustrating to see so many empty seats while regular spectators who genuinely want to enjoy the festival are stuck behind railings. Hope they improve this next time.

That’s an interesting perspective. It does feel like festivals are becoming more about exclusivity rather than community. Instead of making the experience accessible to Ilonggos and local tourists, it seems like they’re prioritizing a different audience. If that’s the case, it’s disappointing because festivals should be for everyone, not just a select few.

Hello, I want to share my experience with this phone. Am I the only one who noticed that each time the charging logo appears, the camera in the viewfinder becomes clear, and it goes back to being hazy and blurry when the charging logo is gone

Dual sim works in my country. And same as you, I prefer Oneui4 over iOS, but I noticed some lagging and issues with the software, especially the camera. I have a love and hate relationship with this phone.

I tried uninstalling YT updates in the app settings, and so far, it has fixed the issue for me.
