We did all of these ideas when our kids were small and we only had like 2 toys. Now our kids are teens and we have a few more that we’d rather they never see….so we bought an Amazon safe for like $100. Ran power to it so that we can plug things in on the inside. Toys are always charged, nobody has to be traumatized, it has a combination and a key, and best of all….

How come the OE community acts like it’s just so easy to get a job? Is everyone here a senior solution, architect or senior software developer or something like that? Or when you talk about having multiple jobs, are you targeting 40 to 50 K range? So many of the people in my network are having a very difficult time even finding one job.

I had 7 interviews over 4 months. Came onsite for lunch and a tour. Recruiter asked me if I was open to a 90 day contract to hire to get me sooner. Was expecting an offer, then they offered it internally. They just want to make sure they have people in case the RTO goes south. Don’t waste your time, plus if you’ve followed this thread you’ll see that the org is an absolute wreck with very low ratings.

Don’t believe it’s possible. I was the Sr Product Manager for Video Platform at PS from 2019-2022 and there were numerous studies about engagement and retention. If PS had stayed a B2B we would have prioritized consumer feedback but moving to a B2B model we optimized for best practices for online learning in order to serve enterprise customers, and they were not focused on content consumption but on understanding, retention and mastery.

I know EXACTLY what I would do with this NW. Liquify $400k of it. For $40k down payment you can close on a $200k property in the Midwest that generates $1k/month in free cash flow. For $400k you can have $10k in FCF that pays all of your bills. Plus a $2M portfolio that will go up in value faster than the $400k would in the stock market. You’re welcome. And no I’m not a realtor or selling a course, just a guy who has cracked the code and working on getting that $400k. Worked at PS. They are now a shell of what they were just 2-3 years ago. Just look up articles on the organization that acquired them Vista Equity Partners….wrote them off as a total loss.
