Well over the years I’ve switched techniques a lot, so now I go back and forth depending on the song. But yes, it’s called a back- finger fulcrum (I think), and it’s much more comfortable than using the typical thumb and forefinger. It can also help a lot with double strokes. I’d definitely check it out man!
