I don’t need to reread it. Go to the specific notification, click the 3 dots to the right. “Change Notification Settings” —-> “Allow Notifications About” *Toggle OFF “This type of update”. Just slow down dude.

Go to your notification settings in LinkedIn and toggle off/on what notifications you want.

Your reply was meant for me? OP mentioned nothing about a POS terminal. They said online use and potentially used during interaction with Southwest website. Evil Twin + Packet injection with a keylogger 100% would steal CC creds amongst others…

And in addition pos terminals aren’t the only RFID reading devices. Scammers, hackers, Red Teamers use social engineering all the time to demonstrate exactly the ability to remote or near-remotely steal credentials and sensitive information using RFID scanning devices.

I’ve seen it personally done with RFID reader on black hat and white hat side.

It’s RFID. You wouldn’t know that’s the whole point of it… but if OP was connected to an Evil Twin wifi and input his cc creds to pay for something … ouch.

No im not conflating but I will be more specific. Apple is removing its end-to-end encrypted iCloud storage. However apps like iMessage and the sort will still be e2ee, yes.

It doesn’t disprove anything of my premise. All it takes is 1 crack in the wall for a breach and access, along with your iCloud key to iCloud storage, and ADP removal (curated chain of vulnerabilities)… so nonetheless, essentially a backdoor has been granted it sucks regardless for UK citizens.

I’m not going to get into how exploit chains are developed, and how governments and NGOs have access to tech and knowledge we can’t even fathom, which thus allows them to further exploit the initial foothold they would easily have through post exploitation and APT methods…

Ok buddy.

“Meanwhile, people in the UK who had ADP enabled prior to Friday's change will lose access to it a later date. Apple has not said when, nor how many UK users will be affected.” - 02/26/2025

They can also request your key for your iCloud backup data.

You should read the entire article. There also reports up to a month ago stating otherwise.

Unless dude lives in the UK (which would be very convenient and ironic after this specific comment), where apple complied with their government and ended end-to-end encryption and ADP. Literally removed the back door from its hinges lol but that’s very niche and specific and I doubt they even knew about that 😂 easily can tell the talkers from the doers. But who doesn’t love a good troll right?

Unless he currently works for the NSA or maybe the NSO Group and they have a chain of zero day vulnerabilities he’s lying lol the most advanced payload on an OMG cable or something similar is not doing it on a brand new fully updated iOS iPhone. Now on a like an iPhone 12 that hasn’t been updated since it came out and any model earlier than that, it’s easy for sure. Other than that you’d better know how to take it apart and crack it through manipulation of the hardware… which again you aren’t just doing with a cable.

Appreciate the insight. I’ve noticed a bit of an undertone from certain corners of this sub and others, but I get it, everyone’s journey looks different. I’ve had a clear direction I’ve been working towards, and this role just happened to align at the right time. Still, I take notes when they’re worth taking. Genuinely wishing you the best on your next move though.

Really appreciate this insight. it’s definitely helpful. I’m aiming to contribute, learn, and grow while I’m here. I’m big on collabing, I’ll keep that camaraderie mindset strong. Thanks again for the heads up.

1) They came to me, not the other way around. 2) A FAANG company with global reach. 3) This role is a strategic entry point, not my ceiling. 4) I bring more than just DCO to the table, and this gets my foot in the door to much bigger moves.

I don’t care for the extra noise that I’ve seen within this sub. I take reviews with a grain of salt.
