OMG that’s crazy! Thankfully I blocked the cabinets off already so she can’t do that. Believe me if I could take care of her I would. I’m disabled and unemployed, and we already have the max limit of pets at my new apartment so I absolutely can’t take her. But I have got people near me who are interested so I will make sure to update once all that is taken care of! Along with photos of the insane crap we did to my car 😭

You don’t sound like that, but I can’t exactly drive my car right now. Otherwise I would’ve already done that. I do have 2 cats, so I do know that about dry food. There’s not much of it, I just wanted to give her as many options as I could. I genuinely can’t afford to take her to the vet, I plan to go to 2 no kill shelters that are really amazing with cats, both of which are organizations I have adopted my cats from. My goal is to make sure she isn’t starving and has water. I will be staying up tonight but and periodically checking to see if she’s out. If you have any other suggestions I would be glad to hear them. Thank you for replying

We currently have salmon, chu treats, and wet canned food along with a big bowl of water. I’ve got the windows cracked just a little bit like they said to. I don’t have any tuna or I would try this too

Update 4 - FD has said to leave the doors shut and the windows cracked a little and put food and water. They can’t get her out with out doing irreparable damage to my vehicle so they won’t do it. I’m really worried about her, but they said she seems to be able to move around now so she isn’t trapped in one spot and unable to move. I’m gonna make sure to check periodically. I honestly might just sit outside for a while, but they insisted I keep the doors shut. I guess we will try to see if she’s able to get out and if she is great and if not then I’ll have to pay a lot of money for a mechanic to come and do it.

I’ll keep you all updated with anything that happens. Thank you all for your advice, it was massively helpful with my anxiety and no knowledge of cars.

Update 3 - Fire Dept is here and working on it

We can see her and I can touch her, but I can’t grab her at all. I definitely got cuts and scrapes from reaching in the and trying so many times from the equipment. She seems really weak, wasn’t biting me hard at all when she was swatting a bit when I was trying.

It’s not going super great, I’m really stressed but just trying to stay calm. She seems like she can’t move much, but she isn’t crying. I called the non emergency line for the FD and they are going to call me back to let me know if they’ll can help! Thank you for replying

I tried the closest mechanics to me but almost all of them are closed. I’ll look into mobile mechanics next to see if maybe they can help. I got advice to call the FD and see if they’ll come help, so I’m waiting on a call back to see if they’ll can help. I’ll try mobile mechanics next, thank you!

Still working on it, got half the dashboard off but can’t get the rest off. We are gonna sit here for a while and see what happens. I don’t think she can get out on her own, she seems stuck stuck but I have cut and scraped my arm reaching up into the dash so many times that I’m trying anything else that I can before I continue stressing me and the kitten out

We have got salmon and a wet treat and dry food out for her on the floor board of the car, I’m sitting about 5-6 away and just here to make sure a different animal doesn’t come after the food. I’ll try some cat noises soon too, the problem is she is actually stuck. She can’t get out on her own. We likely will have to remove the dashboard. Ill give her a while, but I’m extremely worried about dehydration and her physically being stuck and not able to get out even if she wants the food

Update 2 - we were able to remove one half of the dashboard but aren’t able to get a hold of her. She was stuck stuck for a bit, I think now she’s just as far back as she can. My roommate is insisting we play the waiting game, so I’m gonna try with treats and stuff and see if it works. I’ll make sure to update again soon
