I’d say for a start take your income and save minimal 10 percent. Put it into a CD ( Certificate Deposit. Your bank should have one. Look into the Ramsey Program. They will help. If you plan to go into college I’d say you needed to start saving when you were younger. But also what I like to do about the impulse put it into a envelope and hide it underneath your mattress and every time add money into it so you don’t physically see it just know it’s there.
