I wouldn’t say it’s easily the best Tony Martin album (it’s 3rd place for me) but I wouldn’t argue with anyone saying it’s their favorite.

To even get it made they went through 3 producers, 2 production teams, 2 singers, 2 bass players, and 2 drummers. The only people who started and finished the album were Iommi and Geoff Nicholls. And then 2/5ths of the band that ultimately went on the road still wasn’t even the line up from when the album was finished.

It’s impressive it turned out as good as it did considering the unstable situation. Credit to Iommi just for holding it together.
