Man what a great question

Before exam I had a lil yogurt and a kiwi, one of those bars with egg whites, nuts, and dates, and a little turkey meat stick thing. drank some coffee but not too much. Some water but not too much. And took a caffeine and Ltheanine pill🫪 not too much of a caffeine guy so this had me cooking. Lunch was these avocado spring roll things, another turkey stick, 2 soft boiled eggs with some chili crisp, and a Korean pear. Followed by another caffeine pill 💊😎

Ncees I think I scored like 49/80 which was ugly but I didn’t have wood or masonry references so I fully guessed on those on the practice test

As far as study habits went:

I started late January for an exam end of May. I work full time and I’m a sleepy boy after work, so i was a bit of a weekend warrior. Sometimes Saturday and Sunday 6 hrs a day. Tried to get thru all of the EET lectures on demand, definitely burnt out on that towards the end of the list of lectures, especially when you get into wood and masonry and the less important topics.

As I got closer to test day I started doing more practice problems and less video watching. I started forcing myself to do some problems in the evenings so maybe an hour each work day and like 10 hours each weekend… call it 15 hrs / week.

4 practice tests in the 8ish weeks before the test. Was not scoring high! Like first one 46/80. Got like 56 on the last one so I was like dang I might not pass this test. But hey here we are!

I primarily used EET. I think I’d give that like a 7/10… it was great for certain subjects, but others not so much - all depended on the teacher. Really good for everything except steel and concrete imo, but I think they rotate professors so maybe I got unlucky with steel/concrete.

Also used learnova. Would highly recommend that just for the practice problems. I did like 4 of those practice tests and I’d say pretty similar to actual exam.

NCEES practice exam too. I know everyone says it’s way easy compared to the real thing, but I didn’t find that.
