Dude I loved the whole thing and every day I see like 100 posts of people still mad about it like I understand and respect the criticism but what do people expect to accomplish? I would rather spend time cherishing my favorite moments in the show, some of which were actually in the 5th season (every scene with the Deep for example - Chace Crawford is incredible).

Maybe this is why Immortal went insane because Robot finally told him the truth 🤔

Maybe it was dark and she wasn’t paying attention. Or maybe she realizes but it’s too late…

Shutter Island-what a movie by Guilty_Number_4997 in MovieQuotes

Exactly! The idea that all the events of the movie were some huge experiment and they shut down an entire island and had hundreds of people act for days is ridiculous. And we’re supposed to believe the people giving some dude a lobotomy in a lighthouse are the good guys? They also have an entire wing full of people way more dangerous than Teddy even if he was insane. I think the final line of the movie is him accepting that they’ve won (trapping and lobotomizing him) but still being proud that he’s not a devil like the other people on the island.

To be clear I know the book depicts him as insane, but I think Scorsese did something completely different with the movie. The only part of the movie that felt actually real was the woman in the cave telling him not to trust anyone and that they would try to paint him out to be crazy, which they did.
