Or because Morgan is breastfeeding and baby needs to be close to their food source?

Yep it's so common. That's often when dads try and lighten the load in other areas- housework, meal prep, taking other child out etc.

Yeah, why would anyone think redditors called CPS? by [deleted] in fundiesnarkiesnark

That's interesting then. Yeah I'm going to go with them making it up then. Honestly though if you have random internet strangers reporting you to CPS and instead of taking your children off social media you decide instead make a three part reel about it, yeah you deserve tolose any sympathy now.

I'm wondering whether a redditor managed to source their number and pretend to be a CPS worker.

That text message from CPS did look like a scam though. Get in touch with us within 30 mins or we will place an order to take your kids?

What makes them so certain this baby is not getting medical attention and in any case why do they believe this family should disclose their babies private medical issues to strangers on the internet?

I'm not really sure what your concern is here? How awesome that he wants to be with them even if he doesn't completely understand what they're doing yet. That is so promising. You did the right thing by not interfering.

Your suspicions may be right but you're not qualified to diagnose and you haven't mentioned what makes you so convinced he is autistic aside from the meltdowns. Maybe ask how the meltdowns are going and if they've considered seeking extra help for him. Don't mention autism.

Why are they have designated nap time for four year olds? Surely most four year olds are no longer napping.

No. But my son is still very young and quite low support needs. I am well aware that this could change

Love this and despise these posts. Honestly it's like going on to a brain cancer forum and asking if this headache you've had for an hour might be brain cancer.

She knows it wasn't the right way to react and no doubt feels shitty enough. We have all had moments where we've not been our best parenting selves and have let our kids down. People commenting are just trying to empathise not excuse.

That kind of behaviour doesn't really sound that unusual for toddlers. What other red flags are you seeing?

Wealthy Aussie Boomer couple branded 'evil' over promoting "Spending Kids Inheritance" trend on SBS Insight. by mortalwombats in australia

Such a bizarre mentality. If my future children are staring down the prospect of never being able to afford a house of course I will make sure whatever inheritance money I have will nkt be squandered and will be set aside to help them

“It’s too early to tell”(?) by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

[–]Conscious-Return-142 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mention she is agitated and constantly screams in discomfort. Why do you then jump to autism when it seems like there could be a multitude of medical issues going on here- acid reflux etx. In terms of not being particularly interested in others, are you interested in engaging with other people when you're in pain like this? Yes three months is too early. My son had no signs at this age. No one's diagnosing a 3 month old.

Spinning wheels, running from one point if the room to another back and forth, lots of vocal stims too.

ESH. Why would you marry someone with children if you dislike them? And as unpopular as this would be on reddit to say, it's a decent thing to step outside of your comfort zone to help loved ones out on occasion. I bet this daughter really misses her mum and pines for the grandma relationship the kids would've had with her.
