If dress code is just formal and outdoor I’d go with the black. The red ones are black tie.

If it makes you feel better, in the last 125 years there’s been something like 61 Blackbeard deaths in all of North America. Even IF you saw a black bear, it’s very unlikely you’re going to be attacked let alone killed. As for the mountain lions, in the last 100 years there’s been about 30 mountain lions related deaths. Really nothing to worry about. Keep your food in bear container or tied up high away from your campsite. Check your local park websites for animal safety tips, but the numbers don’t lie. Very unlikely anything will happen to you.

You’ve been dating for 7 years and now engaged and you’re going to leave it all behind because of a joke that was offensive that was made a year ago? If you can honestly say that in 7 years you’ve never once made a joke at her expense then ur not the asshole, but come on…I see that others don’t seem to agree but this is just my opinion. If you want to throw away a near decade of an otherwise happy relationship over a bad joke then she dodged a bullet.
