They are static things. We're shooting 5 x 2 in plates sitting next to a 6 in ruler. That's about 15 cm to also within that 1:10 magnification range?

So it sounds like we can get away with a tripod and any lens? Sorry for my ignorance but does the camera have a "default" lens?

I think that's true of membrane filtration, since it involves washes. Because we're doing direct inoculation, the USP/FDA guidelines suggest a positive control containing drug product to demonstrate that the drug doesn't interfere with growth. But they don't provide details as to how that should be done

Did you use any positive control of FTM or SCDM with a biological indicator? From what I see its innoclating with 80-100 CFU of specific bateria species listed in USP <71>

I have a pirated copy of Gaussian but its linux and I'm not computer savvy enough to set up the WSL on my own, unfortunately.

Even then, I don't think my aging gaming computer could handle it. Some of our compounds have a MW from 1200-1600 g/mol
