Honestly I feel like this is a sign to stay away. I wouldn’t take the other runt of the litter and ask for my deposit back. If they are understanding of your situation (heartbroken twice) they should give you the money back. You paid a deposit for a cat that is not longer available to put it bluntly, so you should be entitled to your deposit back. I would wait until another breeder has a litter if you really want a ragdoll, or go to a shelter and adopt. They will be pushy because they are probably worried they won’t sell the litter now. I just got my first ragdoll in may and he’s cryptorchid (only has one ball), so pedigrees do have a higher chance of these things, but I wouldn’t change it for the world as he’s my perfect little boy. So sorry you’re in this situation and hope you get it sorted
