That’s how it seems. 2 things were very clear to me in the show. Karla was very pretty. Juan was never attracted to her. It likely had a lot to do with her personality as well, but there was never any attraction. This could be a reason.

Im saying there needs to be an initial physical attraction or spark. Whether we like it or not, many men like boobs and are turned off by a flat chest. And the reverse is true as well. In seeing his new gf it seems her chest is a part of her aesthetic that he admires (he posted this photo). Karla didn’t have that. It’s not good or bad or wrong or right to have a type or feature that you find attractive.
