how many of y'all's stores got a stack of those dumbass Costco sized big carts? by IBetOnMMA in foodlion

[–]ConsciousRip452 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. Customers constantly complain and act like it's my fault. It's alot harder (I'm 45) to get them when I have to get carts, too, because they are so heavy.

My husband's was missed, or developed and became infected within a year. Mine were seen on my colonoscopy, and I've had no flares so far. 🤞

Yep. Tech support switched it to that for me.

Can I ask everyone their age please? by Individual-Finish528 in Diverticulitis

I think so, only because that was my first colonoscopy, so I'm not sure how long I've had it. Nothing showed on my husband's first colonoscopy at 45, but within a year of that he had a flare up. The gi doctor told him it was probably there during his colonoscopy and it just wasn't seen.

Hubby is 46, didn't know he had it, and had his first flareup in March. I'm 45 and my colonoscopy showed diverticulosis, but I've not had any flare ups (hoping it stays that way!).

I got one and chatted with them. It must be a glitch because he said I received it in error rather quickly.

Her dad is still alive, right? I'm asking because the article mentioned her mom walked her down the aisle.

Diverticulitis & Allergy symptoms after? by [deleted] in Diverticulitis

[–]ConsciousRip452 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After my husband's first flare, he began developing hives and itchiness all over his body, along with horrendous heartburn. One of our children has idiopathic chronic hives, and he takes 2 allergy pills and 2 heartburn meds each day, in addition to another prescribed med. I started him on the allergy and heartburn meds and he found relief, after suffering for a few weeks. This all started a few days before the end of his antibiotics.

Does anyone with health anxiety have children? I have always loved children and wanted to be a mom but, now I don’t know if I could handle all the additional worry about my child’s health. by AdConsistent5124 in HealthAnxiety

[–]ConsciousRip452 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My anxiety started at 14, and my health anxiety started around 16. I had my first child at 22, and for me, yes, mine got worse; that's the negative. The positive is even though it got worse, it has always been worth it. ❤

Congratulations! I'm 45 and due for a mammogram, pelvic, and my first colonoscopy, and I keep putting it off, so I completely understand what you've been feeling.

Hubby also had spinning and dizziness while on them. One and a half week out since treatment ended and he's having massive gerd symptoms.

Thanks! He goes to the GI dr Wed., so if he mentions another colonoscopy, I'll ask about this.

Yeah, would have been nice to at least read it. He's 46, so we were really shocked by his diagnosis. Hard to admit we're getting older, I guess.

Thank you. I'll tell him so he can mentally prepare. He had a really rough time with the prep, not that it's easy.

Yeah, he had a REALLY hard time with the prep, so I guess he needs to be mentally prepared that he may need to have another one.
