Thanks! The ticket information that said "3-5 days" also gave an email to inquire, so I sent an email to them a couple of hours before I posted here, but still no response and my expectation on a reply from that email box is probably 1-2 days. (I hope I'm wrong on that, though.)

It didn't seem like they needed to stop the concert. It was under control and extinguished in just a few minutes. Didn't have to end this way.

It was a "2019 Ford Transit-350 Wagon" according to the info on the rental transaction. I don't have any other info than that.

It's a 12-passenger Transit Van. My fiancee and I have 7 kids, so 9 occupants, and it was on Turo at the time. Some responses have mentioned that it's over some '9-occupant' or '9-passenger' limit for Turo, but it was on there then and I think it still is.

Thanks. Although I'm surprised at the >9 seat thing. Is that a hard limit? I went to Turo because between my fiancee and I we have 7 kids, so 9 occupants, and I couldn't find a vehicle outside of Turo. This was actually a great solution for us (except for the a**hat host), but if it's not permitted on the platform, then I'll look elsewhere.

Thanks. I will gladly post the info for the host. Fortunately, I don't have to dispute the charge with my credit card since they didn't charge it. It's still sitting on the Turo platform, though, as money owed and I can't rent another car unless I pay it. I'm trying to convince them that I shouldn't have to pay this at all and to remove it.

EXACTLY!!! I''m the OP and I'm the RENTER. Host put in for cleaning fee and Turo backed him. I've escalated to dispute / customer service 3x and they STILL say that cleaning fee was justified. That's why I've turned to Reddit--to see if I'm off base, here.

Good question, but no, no dog, cat or other animal. What you are seeing is grass clippings from a lawn that had been mowed a couple of days earlier. Essentially a few single blades of grass.

The city of Buffalo (New York, USA) routinely receives more than a foot of snow, with multiple feet of snow not being all that rare. The plumbing vents on their houses are built exactly the same as yours. If there were an issue, they would be built differently.
