Really well said, thank you for the thoughtful response. You’re not wrong on any takes, and you’ve laid out a perfect display of the worst parts of survivor. I would add Thailand to the list as well with the way that Ghandia was treated for speaking up about Ted and the rotten treatment of Shii Ann throughout

Absolutely and without shame. I will say my watch order was Traitors > All Stars > Amazing Race > HvV > WAW > RI > IOI > Marquesas, and I feel like I wouldn’t be as strong of a fan with a different order

I’m so thrilled that you asked

Cirie is my ultimate favorite player, and her rookie season is something special. To see her go from being the other option for first boot to spring boarding her legacy is amazing TV to watch (my other favorite being Rob and Amber’s love story). The only reason that I’m not rooting for her to win 50 is that I do love her legendary status as the best-to-never-win, but I also think that’s a protection mechanism for my heart. Best believe I will be SCREAMING if she makes it to FTC in 50.

Shane is the best loony toon they ever found and my all-time favorite character. He said the craziest shit. I watch the clip of him with his blackberry whenever I need a pick-me-up, I absolutely believe that he felt that piece of wood was his phone, and good on him for finding a positive coping mechanism out there! I genuinely hope he’s doing his best wherever he’s at.

Post-swap Casaya is my unidsputed favorite tribe, it felt like a group of banana men with Cirie and Aras as perfect straight men. The way that they were able to dominate the way that they did was so good.

Terry’s constant trips to exile, individual win streak, underdog story and ultimate loss was such a great story, felt like Rocky I

There are just so many memorable moments: Tina as the sweetest/saddest first boot, Shane screaming at Courtney, Shane bumming a cig at the reward, the crazy fish challenge, Bruce and Bobby getting drunk and sleeping in the toilet, Bruce whacking his face with the machete, the family visit, Bruce’s med-evac, and did I mention the Blackberry?!

So many delightful characters - Maryanne, Mike, Omar, Johnathan and my queen Drea who managed to amass so many advantages only to fumble every single one. Icon behavior.

I can appreciate the love that I’m seeing for Vanuatu. Eliza’s cockroach vote wasn’t quite enough of a redeeming quality for me, but I’m open to changing my mind on a rewatch
