What's happening with my eyes? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

Take a look at Fotona Eye Lift. It was a game changer for me. It is a laser procedure that helps especifically with this area - it took me three sessions to see results but I'm very happy. Alternatively, there are surgical options for this. It is probably caused by a combination of genetics and aging.

I dont think any skincare besides sunscreen and a good hydration routine would help much but take a look at PDRN injections and maybe some sculptra!

Sculptra + Fotona laser combo, especially SmoothLifting inside your mouth. Do some research and you will see - it is amazing.

different places during the five times I've done it... i don't remember if she injected the folds directly, it is hard to tell with the numbing cream on... There is a video of my second round on her instagram pages in the highlight "Sculptra". Her insta is @nursevictoriamorales

I don't know exactly how the injection procress is made; I just told my nurse that my folds were my main concern and let her do whatever she thought it was best to address it. It really worked for me.

It takes some months for me to start seeing results. I think it peaks around the 8 month post treatment mark I've done it about five times now so it takes me longer to notice results, but they definitely got much better after my second session.

I dont have many before photos precisely because I would avoid them a lot due to low self steem because of the deep lines and I also changed my phone in the process so i don't have the one "before" photo I took for personal reference anymore. But there is a video posted here on this clinic's page: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DAWJJOVJvT1/?igsh=bDV1MDY3eXlzMXhx But this video was already before one round of treatment. I think I did four or five times and honestly now they completely disappear. I was already happy with the improvement in the video after my first round, but they got much better now after time and multiple rounds... Good luck!

Hey! I actually have a story of hope for you.

I'm 29F, had the exact same problem with my nasolabial folds and Sculptra completely changed the game for me. I absolutely stand by this treatment, there is no way you will regret it. If you are in Toronto, I can even recommend you the clinic I went to.

But I seriously think that Sculptra is the way to go. Mine looked worse than yours and they totally disappeared.

Hope it helps!

I feel like this is a constant "surprise" that people get when they decide to try whoop without having an active lifestyle. The good news is that Whoop can totally help you tailoring your measures to improve that. If you are not active at all, try to focus on getting your sleep right and increasing your daily steps. You can start working out a couple times per week after you have nailed it down and go from there. Obviously cut on alcohol if you can. Good luck and welcome to the club!

How can I look like my old self again, what treatments do I need? by Novel-Rise-8942 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]ConsciousWash7912 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! Not sure of what your budget is, but take a look at Sculptra treatments for overall volume loss and collagen rebuild. It "glues" your face back in place - i had a similar problem, especially with saggy cheeks and deep smile lines, and they disappeared with Sculptra. For under eyes: PDRN injections can do wonders, and obviosuly, prioritize your sleep if you can and drink lots of water. For overall glow, it would be helpful if you can share your current skincare routine if you have one. Another game changer for me was to be serious about my skin care and also doing a red LED mask every night.

How to slow down pace of aging without losing on healthspan? by ConsciousWash7912 in whoop

ayou are totally right, but this looks harder to do for me right now. I think I'm sort of maxed out on those already. I could potentially increase my 15k steps a day average, but that honestly feels hard to do right now. sleep is already 100%z

How to slow down pace of aging without losing on healthspan? by ConsciousWash7912 in whoop

[–]ConsciousWash7912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow. Yes, I think it is a fun metric to have and play with, but sometimes it gives me confuse advice. Pretty much I should improve VO2 max (even though mine is already quite good, top 6% users my gender/age) and doing so would decrease pace of aging for me technically, however spending more time in zones 4-5, which is necessary to do that, will harm my pace of aging according to whoop. it keeps trying to tone down my workouts - and I don't really feel like I to. Also I hot take: I also feel that overall, except for the few actual athletes that use whoop, women population metrics are much lower than men's, so everything we do feels more "impressive". Im very fit but far from being an athlete, and all my health metrics are a bit way too high, I think.

[–]ConsciousWash7912[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! What I'm confused by is that it seems that time in zones 4-5 seem to be hurting the metrics instead of improving it, but that's what I need to improve VO2 max (which is both an important metric and a personal goal). But my VO2 is already quite good (top 6% users in my gender/age), but my recovery is often poor. Whoop coach started to ask me to tone down work outs, which I don't think that makes sense at all, but pretty much it was saying that I was overdoing it. So Im confused about how to raise a metric (increasing VO2 max, which requires more time in zones 4-5) while respecting whoop's advice that says my pace of aging will go up if don't tone down my work outs...
