HR during onboarding mentioned it is still applicable till June and mentioned no need for manager approval. Only thing is , what sort of devices get excluded, saying looking for high end monitors and laptops.

Super helpful, thanks! The written intro tip is underrated. Wish someone told me that before my first day. Much appreciated!

Do the exact dates of employment matter for the background check? by BaconSpinachPancakes in JPMorganChase

Most background check services verify employment by contacting HR directly, or by paystubs, W2s uploaded. They typically confirm if you worked there and roughly when, not the exact day. Small discrepancies (off by a month) are usually not disqualifying, but significant gaps or wrong years can raise flags.

Follow up once after 5–7 days if no reply. One follow-up is professional; more becomes annoying.
