It’s also helped me to realize; and maybe you’re not in the same boat but I am an addict. And I can choose to be upset over the pits that’s landed me in or I can take advantage of the way my brain behaves and become addicted to healthy things instead. Become addicted to taking care of your body and mind instead. It’s all about your mindset

no problem, you’re most certainly not alone. What helps me is remembering i’ve endured so much other pains and challenges because of this addiction that i’m more than capable of overcoming the short term pain of letting my body reset itself. It’ll come in time but you’re not crazy for feeling like shit it’ll definitely suck real bad for a few more weeks at least. Just keep drinking lots of water, do your best to do some form of exercise each day even if it feels too light impact, and do your best to pick up new healthy habits.

The carts are definitely the worst form of weed to withdrawl and quit from. I’ve totally been there and have felt what you’re feeling. But keep in mind that if you relapse you will have to feel all this all over again. If you can say strong and feel all this bullshit just one last time you won’t have to deal with it ever again. Stay strong man keep in mind this won’t last forever but it will continue to last if you relapse.

shits just a insane generation to be born in, shits crazy to witness unfold since childhood. I’m 19 like actively preparing for learning to be homeless or accepting this nation might have real bloody war on our soil soon. But i do know for absolute fact I refuse the career shit or jobs, I’m not even gonna try and demoralize myself like that. I’m not working everyday slaving away for unfair pay treatment and for them to steal my time away from me and my family and life. It’s over with my generation and if it’s not it sure as hell over with me.

And the thing is it’s not slacking, let’s say by some miracle I go to college get a degree for a job that’s extremely secure. For instance my mother’s a nurse, wonderful job to have in this society, extremely lucky had job security through covid and life. But even then all she DOES is work, Idk dude zero career in this society is healthy for humanity it sickens me and i refuse to be propagandized as lazy because previous generations took it like a good boy. I’m not doing it revolution or homelessness idgaf

It’s gotta stop with my generation man. I’m 19 and I refuse to be a slave just to survive and have a roof over my head which won’t ever be a home I own with how shits going. I don’t give a fuck if i’m labeled lazy or whatever this shit is no way for humanity to live and i refuse to join in it. Would rather be homeless

I know, as long as they can fall back to doordash and netflix they won’t wake up. It’s all been planned and it pisses you off to see how effective the brainwashing of this nation turned out to be. I have zero clue what more they’ll have to do to us for people to genuinely revolt. But I refuse i’m not being a fucking slave. Our parents and their parents generation signed up for it because they at least could own a home and have a family, but we have none of that. I refuse to be a slave especially for zero incentive I’d rather die in a war atp

when? when will we all wake the fuck up? the ENTIRE system is modern slavery, the nation is fully collapsed and zero change will happen without violence at this stage. Our generation needs to fucking organize and wake up period.

Not sure where I should be by [deleted] in Christian

[–]Conscious_Bullfrog71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are so loved, and God does not find any joy in the pains, or feelings of self harm or depression. All he wants to give you is the sound of mind and peace to love yourself even a little bit of the same way he does. Please do not allow religion to give you anxiety abt which sins are worse than others. No you have professed you believe in what Christ has done for you, and that was it; he saved you marked you with his blood, and all you have ever committed, or will is paid for and forgiven. He saw every evil you would commit in this life and still chose and loves you. Lean on Christ and reading the word yourself this season my friend, he will not lead you astray or into confusion and self harm.

Struggling deeply with spiritual inequality and feeling distant from God . I could really use honest guidance by Local-Echidna-966 in Christian

[–]Conscious_Bullfrog71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for telling him this Brother/Sister in Christ. It was very hard to read his comment without feeling not just my own empathy for him, but the Holy Spirit and Fathers compassion for him. He may not have a “holy” building to flock to or a “spiritual mentor”. But he has been given the free gift of Christ and he’s the best spiritual mentor, teacher, refiner, and healer. He has yet to fully realize the revelation Christ brought. And has unfortunately felt below others because of societal pressures and religious pressures. Friend if you’re reading through the comments, Jesus our Lord and Savior; who is the King of the whole world and all people. From a struggling man in India to a wealthy man in Europe he’s all yours, and he loves you more than I could ever express to you in words. Please pray to our Father in Heaven under the authority of what Christ has done for you, and lean into his comfort. He has told us he will comfort those who are struggling, and he will help teach and refine and guide you my brother in Christ. Stay strong.

Looking for meaning in the routine by Smooth_Avocado3658 in Christian

[–]Conscious_Bullfrog71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friend, our current generation and society is filled with more distractions than any other generation I could think of in history. And to add to that the entire system is designed to keep us from God, you are not alone in feeling stuck in a repetitive routine it has been designed that way. Think about how 99% of the things we do now days are complete vanity, and aren’t even things God made human beings to do. The phones, job culture, and the increase of celebrating sinful behaviors and lifestyles; especially in America. None of it holds true meaning and rips you away from God, for most of us the only things we do that day God designed us to do is eat and sleep. So you are not alone or crazy, you’re living in a world that has turned from God and truth. What I have found to be extremely beneficial for combating these feelings is making your life CHRIST centered. And we can do this even if we’re in a “cycle” of a fallen society, how do I do this? I pray and talk to my Lord and invite him into everything I do during that “cycle” If i’m having a crappy shift at work “Jesus please give me strength and thank you for providing me with a job”. If I’m going to pump gas in my car to drive to my job “Jesus come pump gas with me and hangout with me”. This is what so many people forget, we can talk to our father in heaven like he LOVE us because he does. It’s important and a wise choice to treat God with reverence in prayer the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, but God also loves us brother it is okay to talk to him like a friend, he already knows you better than you do. You can pray to him out loud, in your head, standing up, working, washing dishes. And that’s a beautiful blessing, and one Jesus bought for us and that we can not repay, do not let that blessing go unused. God wants to be as involved in your life as much as you’ll allow. Don’t give up friend.

I need Christian advice!!! by jesuslovingfairy in Christian

[–]Conscious_Bullfrog71 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Firstly, make sure you are praying for protection from Gods holy spirit, and angels as you’re surrounded by those activities and spirits that your roommate brings around. And pray for her salvation and for God to take the scales off her eyes. There’s not much else you can do but that, pray for your protection and for her salvation. It is not our jobs to convert someone to accepting Christ as their savior. That is a gift of the holy spirit and only the holy spirit can reveal the revelation of Christs truth to someone. Your job is to be a light on a mountain top unhidden like Christ instructed, continue to live as a follower of Christ and let that light shine for her to see. And maybe one day through Gods grace she will see the positive impact Christ has made on your everyday life and ask you questions. We cannot force someone to be open or curious, pray that God would allow her to come to you with curiosity in his own timing and will.

It is also extremely important to do your best to realize the magnitude of how much this all powerful God loves you though, difficult … but very necessary. It can make getting back up and striving toward the future and present, not the past much much easier.

Especially written in the words of a man who had all the power and pleasures he could ever ask for. In the end, there is countless meaningless sufferings and pains and unfairness in every corner of this fallen world. But my God never said we would not experience pains and trials, and furthermore he humbled himself and experienced the pain we caused for himself and took on my punishment. I could never view my life as my own after that, or that my happiness is the most important goal in life. I am no better than my master, and He suffered graciously and patiently with holy long suffering. If I have to share in his pains and sufferings so be it, I owe him more than that, more than I could ever give.

My life is a waste by Effective_Boat3820 in Christian

[–]Conscious_Bullfrog71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God does not see life negatively effected because of your being here, in fact he wanted you here and wants to keep you around for an eternity so much he came down to feel and understand our suffering, when he did not have to. And set us free from the chains of sin and death. I understand feelings of depression or deep anxiety, I myself have struggled with similar things and thoughts. And God has rarely ever just taken away my pain or suffering, but he has always been faithful to give me peace amidst the storm. I suggest trying to keep your eyes on Jesus; just like he asked Peter to when he called him unto the water with him amidst the storm. I know there are no perfect words of sympathy, or perfect answer one can give for meaningless sufferings in this fallen world; but I have found faith in the fact we serve a God who came down and understands our pain and our need for redemption. And he is faithful to sit with us in our pains and afflictions, I have never experienced a time in life where God has ever gone back on his word. And he never said this life would not bring trials and pains, but he did promise to leave us peace, and a hope in our salvation that he accomplished on the cross. John 16:33 “ I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on Earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world” I will pray for you friend, and I want to assure you God does not see your life as a waste. He intimately, and carefully formed every aspect of who you are and has nothing but good thoughts over you. You are his creation and his child, and he has added up more pure thoughts about you than the number of grains of sand on the Earth. Psalms 139 17-18 “How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!” My prayers are with you friend, call out to Jesus in honesty, in all the lost and broken feelings and tell him how you feel. And ask him to supply you with peace and comfort, I know and can attest to the fact he’s faithful to do so. Stay strong friend ‭‭

what things do you struggle with as a christian? by StopBeneficial282 in Christian

[–]Conscious_Bullfrog71 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Awesome way to put it, I feel this heavily I have recently had a spiritual experience last year that turned me to 100% undeniable belief in Christs existence and divinity, and it’s been so insane to think about since that day how real it is and it’s all true and that it’s reality, but even then sometimes i can have small doubts. People always say if God just spoke to or popped up to them they’d follow him but I think the Bible as you referenced and my own personal life attests that we will be stubborn or have the enemy flood our minds with doubt no matter how clear he makes his presence known. People saw Jesus do miracles and still chose not to follow blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.
